Tailor Made

suit loan:

We understand that groomsmen sometimes end up all over world, anywhere from Frankfurt to the French Foreign Legion. So, we’ve developed this reference guide for your groomsmen to get their measurements to us. With the intimate knowledge of our garments’ unique sizing, we’ll use your groomsman’s measurements to judge which suits will fit the bill so he’ll be the second best-dressed man at the wedding.

Use a tailor’s tape measure, better yet – use a tailor or someone who can take measurements. No bending the truth either, no matter how kind last Christmas dinner was.

Kick your shoes off, stand upright and relaxed then measure your height against a wall.

Measure around your neck where a collared shirt buttons up.

Total distance across your shoulders and upper back, measured between the clavicles or two outermost shoulder bones.

From the shoulder clavicle to your wrist, measured along your arm.

Around the fullest part of your chest, under your armpits.

Just above your navel, around the fullest part of your abdomen.

Around your belt line at the fullest point, roughly where a pair of dress trousers fasten up.

Around the fullest part of your hips.

From the base of the belt line on some dress trousers to the floor.

The more information the better, additional to the above measurements, if you know your suit size, have problem areas in regards to fit, let us know in the comments section below
